A man and his loyal friend Empty A man and his loyal friend

A brittle, shaky and poorly constructed house stood lonely on top of a hill. It had continueously grappled with seasonal changes and with the ambivalence of heat and cold. Four mitalic pillars crutched the ceiling and therefore the entire house. Greeness suffused the surroundings most of the year while mountains stood as if body guards protecting the house from foreign attacks. They often put on a transient white uniform each Winter and would look ostensibly attracting, yet fatal if any one dared to visit them during that time. This scurtinable nature would always set the inhabitant of that house jubilant each time he took a glance at it while going out to work. In contrast, this sight would seem so eerie, lurid and gruesome to everyone else, especially during Winter.
The man, who had a piece of fertilized land from which he earned a living, had only one dog keeping him company. The dog was his only family, the one living ceature he knew and somehow, it was his safety valve from being so lonely and therefore depressed and insane. They were a happy "family" living in fervor inspite of the dearth they suffered from each time there was a disturbed season. But, the man never knew what sloth was, and would always find a way to provide food and water for himself as well as for the dog. They felt affiliated to one another as the dog had always been the locus of attention of the man.
One day, inwhich the incipient signs of a harsh and a cataclysmic season were palpable, the man set out for work as usual and left the dog home feeling as lonely as ever. Hours and hours passed by and the man was still not yet home. The dog got instinctly worried and as it managed to open the door, it could see the land which was dressed in white again and snow covered the whole area. The man, who was in his Autumn years, was stern and self-reliant and having had so long to come back home was worrying enough. Without hesitation, the dog started running. It seemed so deliriant that it ran in all directions helplessly. It kept doing so for a quite a time till it came upon a human-shaped body which was embracing the ground. Using its super powerful sense of smell, the dog recognized the lying body and instantly started barking. The sound of which was so loud that it echoed in a distance. However, that didn't help to restore the man's conscousness as he was so inert as if hypnotized. Hence, the dog grabbed the man's shirt and started dragging him towards home. His body jostled through several stones which, upon hitting each and everyone of them with different parts of his body, made the man woke up. He was too viciously hurt that he could hardly stand up. He was so eminently grateful for the dog just saved his life. All what the man thought of then was to go back to their asylum where they can hide till this malicious storm go away. In the middle of the road, the man heard a thundering sound from afar. He looked up and saw an annihilating avalanche heading their way. The man couldn't run since his leg was totally smashed. He yelled and screamed at the dog to run away and to live him alone. Yet, the dog stood still and literally disobeyed his owner's orders (something it never did before). The sound got louder while the two stood facing each other and then... The whole place became so purely white and covered with snow.
Indeed, there's no other creature as loyal to Man as the dog is and sometimes, this loyalty can cause it its life.

Really, an ornamental piece of writing; I do like the description of the scene and the diction you have chosen. Good job w_ch.
